Schofield FAQ
How Do I Operate the Schofield?
- Place the Schofield on safety.
- Remove the left grip panel.
- Add a drop of silicone oil to the tip of the CO2 cartridge. Use the hex key attached to the grip panel to install the CO2. Tighten until you hear the seal break and gas fill the gun. Tighten no more than a quarter turn past that to maintain a seal. Avoid overtightening.
- Replace the grip panel.
- Load the shells with the appropriate ammunition.
- Pull the rear sight back to break open the frame.
- Insert the shells into the cylinder.
Your Schofield is now loaded. Disengage the safety, pull back the hammer, aim, and fire.
Note: Like the original Schofield, this is a single-action revolver, meaning you must pull back the hammer for each shot.
When you are done shooting, remove the shells. Remove the CO2 cylinder. If there is still gas present, be mindful that the cartridge can be extremely cold and can cause frostbite. Do not store your Schofield with the CO2 cylinder in it, this will damage your seals and void your warranty.
- Airsoft models: Feature an orange tip and use 6mm plastic ammunition.
- Non-airsoft models: Do not have an orange tip and can fire BBs or pellets using the appropriate shells.
How Do I Use the Sights Correctly?
- Align the front sight within the V-notch of the rear sight.
- Center your target directly on top of the sight alignment.
- The sights are non-adjustable, so experiment with different ammunition to determine what matches your desired point of aim.

- Three small Phillips-head screws
