1911 FAQ
- How do I operate the 1911?
Press the magazine release button on the left side and remove the magazine.
Using the provided hex key, unscrew the CO2 plug. Add a drop of silicone oil (good maintenance practice to keep the seals working well) to the tip of the CO2 cylinder and insert.
Screw in the plug until the CO2 is pierced and sealed. Do not overtighten.
Load the magazine by pulling the follower down and holding it in place.
Tilt the magazine downward and insert 17 BBs in the hole just above the follower. For even easier loading, check out our BB speed loader.
Release the follower.
The magazine can now be inserted, press until it clicks.
Pull the slide back and release it. Your pistol is now ready to fire.
Be sure to properly squeeze the grip safety.
When you are done shooting, be sure to remove the CO2 cylinder from the magazine. Leaving a CO2 cylinder installed will damage the seals and possibly void your warranty.
- How do I use my sights correctly?
Align the front sight in the rear slot with the target sitting on top. The sights are fixed, so if the point of impact differs from the point of aim, try cleaning the barrel and/or switching the brand of BBs to get the best accuracy. There is a lower picatinny rail designed for use with laser sights, providing yet another option for sighting.
- How do I field strip the 1911?
Remove the magazine. Pull the slide back and hold it at the first notch. Pull the takedown pin out, then remove the slide by pushing it forward.
Remove the recoil spring and guides. Remove the barrel.
Note: If you modify or damage the gun while doing this it could void the 1-year limited warranty. We recommend registering your gun when first buying it to make sure you can easily access the warranty for any future needs. If you have any questions regarding this email [email protected].
- How do I reassemble the 1911?
Install the barrel. Install the recoil spring and guides. Align the slide with the rails and pull it back. Insert the takedown pin. Release the slide and dry fire. Your 1911 is now reassembled.

- How do I adjust the hop up (airsoft models only)?
Field strip your 1911. If your 1911 is shooting upward, reduce the hop up to flatten the trajectory. Please note that the steel BB version does not have an adjustable hop up.
